Michael A. Kirisits

Mike Kirisits, owner of Spectrum Therapeutics LLC, is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer. His keen sense of touch, intuitive ability, and 25+ years of experience uniquely qualify him to provide Therapeutic Massage.

In 2015, he also became certified as a personal trainer to enable him to better address his client’s wellness needs. This enables him to take a more integrative approach, blending aspects of Massage Therapy and Personal Training.

Education

Mike gained the foundation for his innate abilities at the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, Florida. After graduation, he worked in medical offices while simultaneously establishing a private massage practice with a rehabilitative and therapeutic focus.

Mike is licensed by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and certified in several modalities of Massage Thereapy. He is certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Experience

For over two-and-a-half decades, Mike has collaborated with primary care doctors, orthopedic physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, neurosurgeons, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. Mike enjoys working with people from all walks of life: professionals, athletes, special needs individuals, and those recovering from injury. Over the years he has assisted thousands of clients achieve a higher level of fitness, relief from pain, and general wellness.

Massage Therapy

Mike is trained in a wide variety of massage modalities. He tailors various techniques to each client’s specific needs, alleviating stress and discomfort from muscle tightness or previous injuries. Specialties include Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Relaxation Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Myofascial Release. Mike also is certified in CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and Reflexology. Conditions treated include headaches and TMJ, neck and back pain, shoulder and arm injuries, and hip and knee pain.

Personal Training

Personal Training includes weight and resistance training, strength training and TRX workouts, balance and movement exercises, stretching and flexibility, and more. Individual, tandem and group personal training sessions are available for people of any age or fitness level. Mike is also a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. He can spot and correct imbalances in your body that limit or keep you from being consistent in your training. This will help improve your effectiveness so you can attain your fitness and weight loss goals more quickly.

NeuFit® Neubie Rehabilitation

Mike is a certified advanced practitioner of the NeuFit® Neubie®, a patented, FDA-cleared direct current (DC) stimulation device. Neubie promotes tissue healing and optimizes the healing process by repairing skeletal, muscular, connective, and nerve tissues. This is especially beneficial to those rehabbing from injury, surgery, or loss of neurological function.
